Wind Energy Direct is an Irish Company, based in Limerick, with a focus on the home and UK markets. They install wind turbines on customer’s industrial sites via a turnkey service. Wind Energy Direct finance, own, operate and maintain the turbines. They sell the electricity produced to their customers at a significant discount to their existing conventional rate. They recently appeared on RTE’s Nationwide programme which proved an effective medium to highlight their growing service. The Wind Energy Direct project involved design of the company logo, stationery, brochure, website and display backdrop.

Copper Reed Studio was asked to design an appropriate to the industry and elegant company logo, a set of print brochure designs and an online presence for Wind Energy Direct. The logo reflects the core service that the client provides, with simple colours and shapes. The effective and elegant website design seeks to draw potential clients inwards to the key areas of the site that highlight the available economies through a savings calculator we custom programmed for the site. The website also allows pages to be edited and kept fresh thanks to StudioC – our custom content management system that we provide to our clients.
